Specification: 25mm Board & Torch System:
- The existing roof sheets (if a reroof) will be removed from the structure
- The roof structure will be inspected for rot and structural integrity
- 18mm ply-wood will be mechanically secured to the roof structure
- A concealed over-sized box gutter will be manufactured and installed
- A 3mm slip sheet (Interdek) will be partially fixed to the fitted board
- A new 4mm heat-fused system (Derbigum SP4) will be applied over the slipsheet
- All overlaps and end laps will be al least 100mm
- The waterproofing system will continue up and over all parapets
- The waterproofing will be appropriately dressed into full-bore outlets/boxgutters
- The system will be counter flashed where necessary with a bitumen compound system
- A heat and UV resistant Silvakote will be applied to the complete new systemic
- There is a full comprehensive 10-year guarantee submitted upon completion of this system
